Making Sure Our Governor is Comfortable, Safe and Not Offended in Any Way

We are all aware of Virginia’s second amendment overreach: Bloomberg buys political ads to support anti-gun candidates; AG Herring revokes conceal-carry reciprocity agreements with 25 states, etc.
Virginia state senator Bill Carrico has a brilliant response. Carrico is introducing an amendment to defund Gov. McAuliffe’s protection detail.  After all, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.  If Gov. McAuliffe is so uncomfortable around guns and wants Virginia to be safer, well, then surly he will endorse this amendment.

McAuliffe

Don’t be scared, Governor. It will be OK.

Brenda Pogge, Virginia House of Delegates, says she is “confident that the Republican controlled House and Senate will pass the needed legislation to correct this matter and restore reciprocity. Unfortunately, Governor McAuliffe is consistently anti-2nd Amendment and will likely veto the legislation. A veto-proof majority vote will therefore be required to restore the rights of law-abiding gun owners.”
What do you think about this move by Senator Carrico? Do you think any of these anti-second-amendment liberals will get it or do you think they will just portray Carrico and anyone who supports his amendment as an extremist? How do the recent changes in Virginia’s gun laws affect you? What can we do about it?
